Or Ami offers its members an opportunity to develop their own judaism within a group setting. We respect our members' different views and encourage our members to express their Judaism creatively. We aim to instill a positive sense of Jewish identity through an understanding of the religious, historic and cultural heritages which have shaped judaism.

Or Ami approaches religious worship and all our other activities with flexibility and openness. We encourage our members to use and adapt rituals and forms of worship from all branches of judaism and from all ages. Or Ami challenges its members to seek personal answers to the meaning of being Jewish.

At Or Ami, we believe that social action is an essential element of Jewish tradition. Tikkun Olam is not just a phrase, but a watchword.
