CALLING ALL COOKS AND GASTRONOMES!

Did you eat something wonderful at a Pot Luck and want the recipe? Does your Bubbe or Tante make something so wonderful that you look forward to it all year? Have a family recipe that no one has ever taken the time to write down? Now is the time to preserve those precious recipes/memories that make Friday nights and Holidays so special!

Here is the scoop: Write down your recipe and drop it off at the temple office or email it to heather510@sprynet.com. It can be ANY type of recipe! Jewish or non-Jewish, hors d'oeuvres, snacks, everyday meals, entertaining, desserts and don't forget the potlucks! If you make it, and everyone eats it or asks for the recipe, SEND IT IN!

This cookbook is a wonderful keepsake! Help us preserve these memories of our congregation and our families.

This is one of the single best ways to get to know this congregation and its members.  There is always something to do!  We need people to volunteer for our committees.  We can use new and fresh ideas.  Becoming a volunteer is how I grew to love this congregation and its members.  It is how I became vested in it.  The congregation grows in value with the effort you put into it.

You can make a difference for our Religious school every time your shop for groceries! Just clip the Box Tops coupons from hundreds of your favorite products and send them to your child's school. Please locate the cardbox yellow school bus and drop your Box Tops in it!

The religious school collects old cell phones and inkjet cartridges for recycling. This program is also part of the Religious School ongoing fundraiser. Thank you in advance for your contribution!

SUNDAY SCHOOL PARKING LOT SAFETY

PARKING SAFETY
The safety of our children must be our #1 concern.

  • PLEASE drive slowly and carefully in the parking lot. Park in a parking place (not in the pick-up lane) and come to the door to escort your child, OR stay in your car in line until you reach the door. 
  • Don’t ask your child to cross the parking lot.
  • Use extreme patience and caution when entering Huguenot Road from the driveway!
  • With the increase in our enrollment comes the increased responsibility for patience and good sense.
